Akshay Nanavati is a Marine combat veteran, author, ultra-endurance athlete, and keynote speaker who has built an entire philosophy around one idea: fear is not the enemy, it is the fuel. He survived drug addiction, walked in front of military convoys in Iraq searching for IEDs, and came home to battle PTSD, depression, and alcoholism that pushed him to the edge of suicide. Instead of stopping there, he spent years deep in neuroscience, psychology, and spirituality to figure out what it actually takes to heal and thrive. That work became his book, Fearvana, which carries a foreword from the Dalai Lama. Since then he has run 167 miles across post-war Liberia, a solo expedition across Antarctica, done humanitarian work with former child soldiers and survivors of sex trafficking. He has been featured on CNN, Forbes, and Bloomberg. If you want a guest who has genuinely tested the limits of what a human being can endure, Akshay is that person.
